A word from Shirley Moore Leago about this paintingUmbrella Cockatoo possess beautiful wide span wings that are reminiscent of angels. They are bound here by their earthly bodies but their beauty transcends the realm as God given angels. Elegant as they are in their shimmering white, they also have a raucous call that can be heard far away. They fly in small groups of family members and stay atop the large trees. I enjoyed the challenge of putting a white Cockatoo on a white background just like nature did.
