Truly a jewel. These tiny gems are a wonder to behold. They quickly flit from flower to flower. A soft summer rain cools the thirsty little bird. He is oblivious to our watching him in pursuit of the thirst quenching water that also calls his body. We welcome him into our yards and our hearts as he comes every year.
