A word from Shirley Moore Leago about this painting

The underside of the dove wing was so soft with subtle colors that I felt compelled to paint the beautiful Mexican Dove. I don't think there is enough attention paid to this subject matter. The dove in a pear tree was a simple subject I wanted to explore.
