A word from Shirley Moore Leago about this painting“Red And Green MaCaw” is the only acrylic painting in the series of Macaws. These birds sit high in the trees above the Amazon River that flows through South America. The Padilla tree in the lower left corner tells you that these birds are located in the highlands of the rainforest. “Red And Green MaCaw” is the first of the Macaw series. The eye of the viewer travels from the lower left Macaw upwards into the endless sky.
