Shirley Moore Leago's works are spiritually inspired, showing the beautiful side of life. She works to capture the luminous and harmonious color God has given us. Her paintings develop from her imagination...even she does not know what the end result will be. Shirley does not plan the paintings, but lets the imagination take over and with paint brush and paint the paintings are created from a feeling that is within, a yearning to show the world what a glorious world we live in. Leago has always loved nature and painting wildlife has helped her express that love. The artist says, “whatever happens on the canvas was meant to be. The positive side of life emerges from my work, and the joy I feel is more deeply felt than any sorrow, for love is strong.
